How it Works

The advanced dHealth system can accurately, effectively, and continuously monitor patient bio-signals. As such, better care, better understanding, and better living can be ensured.

This is made possible through the use of wearables and artificial intelligence algorithms. By pairing these technologies, dHealth analyses health data, displays findings, and provides recommendations, which combines prognostic insights with the expertise of medical professionals.

Developing Knowledge and Technology Research

Currently, the technology of bio-sensing wearables is rapidly growing. Throughout our research, we carefully hand-picked the most specialized devices to become a part of – and advance the mission of – the dHealth project.

The selected devices measure various parameters, including pulse, blood pressure, ABP, bone mass, body weight (composition), the number of motions, activity, sleep intensity, and more. The thorough data collected of users’ health and wellness is then processed using the intelligent monitoring algorithms. As a result, we can accurately determine baseline wellness, existing health risks, and better predict future changes. Equipped with this information, users are then provided with recommendations for preventive measures or general improvements.

What makes dHealth unique? It has the ability to offer preventive recommendations, even before the user is able to feel their own health problems.

Furthermore, the system is not limited to the standard summary of data typically provided by wearables. The artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms analyze the full-scale stream of health telemetry data – provided by all the users of the system – and draw connections between data patterns and notifications from the users.

Connections Between the Doctor and the User

dHealth is a direct connection between the doctor and the user. This allows patients to receive automatic recommendations or, if necessary, suggestions provided directly by the health care professional – all without the need for on-site visits.

An important part of the dHealth monitoring ecosystem is the health care professionals, family doctors, and other medical specialists. Rather than distancing them from the wellness of their patients, our system relies on their expertise to analyze information about abnormalities – as generated by artificial intelligence algorithms and according to the user’s health telemetry data – and offer the final recommendation to the user.
